We understood from the very beginning of our journey, the importance of community. Whenever possible, Schmaedeke Funeral Home is proud to support our local community.

There are numerous ways in which we stay connected to the community, some of which are listed below:

• For several years, Schmaedeke Funeral Home has taken great pride in offering the "Schmaedeke Scholarship" to two of our local schools. Each year, scholarships are presented to two graduating eighth grade students, in an effort to assist his or her family with the increasing costs of secondary education.
  
  
• Schmaedeke Funeral Home proudly holds membership to the following organizations: Sertoma Organization, Worth Lions Club, Kiwanis Organization, the Worth and Orland Park Chamber of Commerce, the Palos Heights Chamber of Commerce, the Orland Park Rotary Club and the Palos Heights Woman's Club, to mention a few.

Our support of the community goes far beyond local organizations. We are proud to sponsor events and organizations in our neighboring communities as well. Whether it is financial donations or sponsorships, raffles or auctions, coupon books or ad books, we are happy to support the community which we have been a part of for over 75 years.
